Having been directly impacted by the real estate market recession, I turned to Diane Rifkin for help in securing a new position. Unlike other stages in my career, (notwithstanding Diane’s diligent help and intelligent advice) obtaining a job offer proved to be challenging. Nevertheless, Diane never gave up, nor did she suggest that I accept the first thing that came along.
Throughout the process, I came to believe that Diane is a true professional. Rather than attempting to place me quickly, as is often the trend among recruiters, she put much thought and time into the process. In contrast to other recruiting firms, Diane made an effort to discuss my qualifications personally with decision makers at law firms – both before and after submitting my resume. Contrary to her self interest, she even made me aware of opportunities at firms that would traditionally not work with recruiters so that I might approach them on my own if I chose.
Professionalism and kindness are not everything, however. Much of a recruiter’s business success relies on her ability to maintain good relationships with employers. During my interview process I learned that Diane’s reputation is stellar amongst employers, which, according to my experience, is not surprising.
I highly recommend Rifkin Consulting.
